Timesheets and Cost Recoveries

Overview
Timesheets can be recorded in several ways throughout the system. Manual timesheets can be recorded through the matter or the Time & Expenses tab on the home menu.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Time recording and Cost Recoveries can be added from a number of different areas, on the main home screen and matter screens via the Time and Cost Recoveries tabs(1 & 2) or by using the timer that appears on both screens (3 & 4).
Additionally, Time (1) and Cost Recoveries (2) can be added from the accounts section of EvolveGo.
Timer
Once the timer has been opened the clock will start running automatically. This can be stopped by click on the pause button that will appear on line 1 below. You will also see options to delete and complete the timer. Add the reason/task to be attached to the time on line 2. Line 3 will be automatically updated if the timer is opened from the Matter Card, search and add a matter if the timer has been opened from the home screen.
Time & Fees
Hours/Fixed fee rates can be added by clicking the Time/Fee icon (1) and completing the details within the pop up (2) or alternatively by working left to right across the screen on the Time & Fees tab. Once a fee has been added you will be able to add it to an Invoice via the Billing area.
To add a timed fee or item from the Accounts section of EvolveGo, select Work Items (1) and then Add Work Item (3) as seen in the image above.
Complete the required details, highlighted with an Asterix. Toggle if this fee is finalised or not and click Save.
Cost Recoveries
Cost Recoveries can be added by clicking the Cost Recovery icon (1) and completing the details within the pop up (2) or alternatively by working left to right across the screen on the Time & Fees tab. Once a fee has been added you will be able to add it to an Invoice via the Billing area.
To add a Cost Recovery from the Accounts area of EvolveGo, on a Matter select Disbs/Cost Recoveries (1) and then New Disbursement (2).
Select Cost Recovery, complete all information required and click Save.
The Save button will be disabled until all mandatory information has been entered.
