Overview

Cost Recoveries can be moved from one matter to another.  Only Unbilled cost recoveries can be moved to another matter.  This process can be performed on the Desktop side of the system. Incurred Disbursements should be transferred via the accounts side of the system: Transfer Disbursements : (practiceevolve.com) 

Transferring Cost Recoveries to another Matter

To transfer a cost recovery to another matter follow these steps. 

1.  Navigate to the Matter, select the Time & Disbursements Tab, then the Disbursements tab. 

2. Double click the cost recovery to open. 

3. Select the cross "X" next to the matter to remove the current matter. 

4. Enter the Matter the cost recovery is to be transferred to.  Select Save.
