Managing contacts on the Matter Card

Overview

As a matter progress you will need to add the other side or third parties to the matter card, this will ensure that when you start to create documents, the automation that has been added will recognise the roles and enter the correct details. New contacts or existing contacts can be added to a matter.

Adding an existing contact to a Matter

1. From the Matter Details, right click in the required field E.G Purchaser/Seller etc. and click on Select an existing Seller


 


2. Search for the contact. 



3. Select the contact and then select Continue to add the contact to the Matter.

 

 

Add multiple contacts to Matter

Many matters will have additional contacts that will have the same role on a matter, these can be added to a matter from the matter details screen. Add the first contact as previously seen. 


1. Right click on the field where the additional parties are required. 



2. Selecting Add will allow you to create a new contact. Selecting Add an existing will display all contacts to select from. 


3. Choose if the new contact will have the Same Solicitor or a Different Solicitor and complete the details as prompted.
