Modified on Mon, 16 Jun at 2:29 PM

Overview

You can now sign in to EvolveGo using your Microsoft account, making access faster and more secure. This guide explains how to link your Microsoft account, sign in using Microsoft SSO, and answers common questions.

What is “Sign in with Microsoft”?

Signing in with Microsoft allows you to use your existing Microsoft 365 or Office 365 credentials to access EvolveGo, without needing a separate username and password.

This is sometimes called Single Sign-On (SSO).

Who Can Use This Feature?

  • Anyone with a Microsoft 365 or Office 365 account provided by your firm or organisation
  • This feature is not available for personal Microsoft accounts (e.g. @outlook.com, @hotmail.com)

How to Set Up “Sign in with Microsoft”

  1. Go to the EvolveGo Login Page

  2. Select “Sign in with Microsoft”
Click the Sign in with Microsoft button on the login page.

  3. Enter Your Microsoft Email
If prompted, enter your work email address (the one managed by your firm/organisation).

  4. Enter Your details
You will need to enter a display name, along with you given and surname

  5. Authorise Access
The first time you sign in, you may be asked to grant EvolveGo permission to access basic profile information.
    Click Accept to continue.

  6. You’re In!
Once authenticated, you’ll be redirected back to the EvolveGo portal and signed in automatically.

Your organisation may require admin approval.
If you see an “Approval Required” message like the one below, contact your IT team.

Switching From Password Login to Microsoft SSO

If you previously used an email/password, once you've signed in via 'Sign in with Microsoft', an admin in your organisation will need to complete the steps outlined in this article: FAQ: When I log in, it says I'm not associated with an Organisation?

You do not need to reset your password to switch to Microsoft SSO.

Common Questions

Q: What if I forget my Microsoft password?
A: You’ll need to reset your password via your organisation’s Microsoft account system. EvolveGo does not manage your Microsoft credentials.

Q: Can I use my personal Microsoft account?
A: No – only work accounts managed by your organisation are supported.

Q: What if I see an “Approval Required” or “Need admin approval” error?
A: Contact your IT administrator. Your organisation may need to approve EvolveGo for SSO.

Q: Can I still log in with my EvolveGo password?
A: Yes – both methods are supported.

Q: I signed in with my Microsoft account, but it says I'm not associated with an organisation?
A: This can occur if your email address wasn't automatically matched by the system. This can be resolved via the steps in this article: FAQ: When I log in, it says I'm not associated with an Organisation?
