Guide Overview

To ensure the security of sensitive data within EvolveGo on your device, we offer Two Factor Authentication as an optional feature for staff members.

 

Setting Up Two Factor Authentication

Two Factor Authentication can be managed via the individual users staff card.

1. Open EvolveGo and select the cog icon on the top right corner to access the System Settings.

2. Select Staff and Users and double click on the staff members name.


3. In the Edit Staff Member window, navigate to the Security section and Click on Set Up.



4. Follow the prompts in the Two Factor Authentication setup wizard. You will be required to provide your EvolveGo Password, Mobile Number and Authenticator App in order to verify your identity and set up 2FA.


5. Once setup is complete you will be required to authenticate on login going forward.


Check who has enabled 2FA in your firm


If you're a Firm Owner, go to the Staff and Users tab to view your staffs 2FA status. Staff who has successfully set up 2FA will have a green tick next to their name.
