PracticeEvolve offers a wide range of training options to help you get the most out of the software.  We offer free services such as online training via our EvolveCommunity platform, regular online training webinars, as well as one on one and group training with an EvolveGo trainer. 


EvolveCommunity

Our EvolveCommunity platform with EvolveLearning includes free online training courses based on core features of the software.  

Clients have free access to EvolveCommunity and EvolveLearning.  Register here or contact your Client Success Consultant to find out more.



Training Bookings

One on one and Group live training bookings can be arranged at an additional fee.

Important Information


Generally, we require at least 2 weeks' notice for training bookings, depending on availability. 


Training services are chargeable services, and are charged at hourly rates for training online, or a flat daily rate for training onsite at your firm.

Training Services

The following is a summary of our standard training services. See below for course outlines or you can download the full training agendas. 


Training for Bookkeepers and Accounting Staff


Accounts Training Part 1 | Duration: 3.5 hours | Online Training


Accounts Part 1 will provide you with an introduction to the interface of EvolveGo including the navigation of the system and dashboards. You will be given a general overview of the client and matter cards from a bookkeeping perspective. You will be instructed on how to set up suppliers and recording disbursements and requisitions and the processing of office transactions such as receipts, payments and purchases. You will be given an overview on how to view the office journal/general ledger and recording journal entries as well as processing the office bank reconciliation. You will also receive an overview of management of time recording from an accounts perspective. 


Accounts Training Part 2 | Duration: 3.5 hours | Online Training


Accounts Part 2 covers the creation and management of client invoices/bills on the matter card and across multiple matters simultaneously. The process of recording trust transactions will be demonstrated. This includes the recording of receipts and payments, trust to office and office to trust transfers, matter to matter transfers as well as the navigation of the trust ledgers. You will be shown how to prepare deposit slips and cheque payments. You will also be shown how to set up CMA, Investment, and statutory deposit accounts as well as performing a trust account bank reconciliation. You will be shown how to generate financial reports, performance reports and trust reporting as well as customising and scheduling reports for auto sending. A demonstration is provided on the process of performing bank reconciliations on the trust bank account. 



Training for Lawyers and Support Staff

Precedents Training


Productivity Workshop - Precedents | Duration: 3.5 hours | Online Training


The precedents workshop is intended to provide relevant staff with a detailed look at the precedents functionality and tools available within the system. 

During the session, we will set up your firm letterheads and will train on how to create and tag new precedents, and modify existing system precedents.


Workflows Training


Productivity Workshop - Workflows | Duration: 3.5 hours | Online training


The introduction to workflow is conducted online with the staff who are tasked with creating workflows in your firm. The main objective of the training is to provide an in depth look at the matter configuration and workflow functions of the system.  During the session we will set up your matter default settings and create some basic workflows, working according to any workflows you may have outlined in your productivity tools worksheet.
