Overview

A Matter type is selected when creating a Lead or Matter. If a matter has been created using the incorrect matter type you can easily rectify this.

Convert a Matter Type

1. Navigate to and open the Matter.

2. Double click on the Matter Type field.

3. Select Change, then navigate to the correct matter type and click OK.

4. Add a Reason For change.  This is mandatory. 

5. A warning will display with ensure the correct Matter type has been selected.  Click Yes to proceed.
