How to interact with Eve
Ask Clear, Concise Questions
When interacting with Eve, use natural language, just as you would with any other AI tool like ChatGPT. Keep your questions simple, direct and relevant to Eve’s capabilities to get the most accurate and useful responses.
Eve Works Best with Specific Queries
To get the best results, be as clear and specific as possible about the information you're seeking.
For example, asking “Show me fees” may return results that lack useful context. Instead, ask a more specific question like: "Show me the fees billed by fee earners for the last month."
This helps Eve understand the context and deliver more accurate results.
Use Relevant Terms
When you're looking for precise information, make sure to include specific terms in your question. For example, if you need data on unbilled or billed amounts, include those terms explicitly.
For example, asking “Show matters with cost recoveries over $100” may not return the expected results due to the lack of context. A better approach would be: “Show matters with unbilled cost recoveries over $100.”
This clearly defines the information you need and helps Eve provide more relevant results.
Eve is not currently conversational. Each question is independent, so you cannot ask a question based from the previous question
What to do when Eve doesn't understand
Rephrase Your Query: If Eve doesn’t understand your question, you may receive a response like "Sorry, I am unable to answer this question. I can answer questions on selected reports. Would you like to try another question?"
Try asking in the question different way using different terms, or add extra context to your question.
Use Keywords: Eve relies heavily on specific keywords. If your query is too complex or unclear, simplify your language to match keywords Eve can understand.
Escalate to Support: If Eve isn't working as expected, contact our Support Team.
