What's New?
Eve
We’ve improved Eve to make your experience faster, smarter, and more intuitive. As your AI-powered finance assistant, Eve has been enhanced in a number of ways. A detailed guide on Eve can be found here.
- Easy Access - Eve is now just a click away, accessible from the global search bar on your Home screen. You can continue to search the directory and look up matters or invoices, but now you can also ask Eve a question directly and get quick, insightful answers without switching screens. Remember, Eve can answer questions in the areas of Fees, Matter Balances and Aging Analysis.
- Smarter Conversations - Eve is learning to talk back, naturally. With a more conversational design, Eve now understands follow-up questions, provides clearer answers, and keeps the tone friendly and helpful. It’s like chatting with a knowledgeable colleague who can provide quick and valuable insights.
- Safeguarding Data - Eve is now available to all EvolveGo users but only surfaces data that the user is already authorised to see, ensuring secure and transparent assistance across the board. Fee Earners can utilise Eve to access and analyse their own fee performance data, but where they act as Person Responsible, Matter Fee Earner or Supervisor, they will have access to all fee performance data across the matters they manage or supervise. This level of access matches the visibility of fee data they already have within their matters.
Custom Fields
EvolveGo now provides the ability to create custom fields, at contact, matter or invoice level. Custom fields support text, date, selection and other data types and can be categorised in order to present them in a structured manner on contacts and matters. These fields allow you to capture key data not otherwise held in EvolveGo. For full details on this feature, please refer to our user guide here.
Time Units & Duration based reporting
EvolveGo now supports time entry by different unit measures should some clients or matters in your system require a treatment outside of the firm default. Exceptions to the firm default can be set on a client or matter basis, as shown below. Several reports have also been updated to display work items using a universal duration field (in hours), ensuring that matters with different unit settings can still be aggregated effectively. For more details, please refer to our user guide here.
Purchases - AI Scanning
Speed up the entry of purchase invoices with the introduction of AI Scanning into the process. PDF invoices can now be attached and scanned at the point of posting an invoice, with our AI technology scanning the document and populating various fields to expedite the process. For full details, please consult our user guide here.

What's New?
Improved Filter Controls
We've introduced a fresh new design of the filter controls within EvolveGo, affecting all grids and reports across the system. These changes make the filters less intrusive but still preserve the essential functionality required.
- Alphabetised listing makes it easier to find the necessary filter, but also removes the need to revisit the filter list after each selection.
- Selected filters will still appear at the top of the grid or report, but we now limit the on-screen appearance to 4. If 5 or more filters are selected, a count is displayed to not overwhelm and distract attention from the grid or report on display.
- When reviewing the available filters, those selected are promoted to the top of the listing for immediate visibility.
- We've added multi-select capability on various filters, such as Matter Types and Fee Earners, allowing you to select multiple options per filter if so required.
N.B. Please note that you may experience minor disruption to some saved custom views and reports that utilised the previous filter controls. Those filters can quickly be set and saved again to preserve your custom views and reports.

What's New?
Client & Matter UI Improvements
Clients and Matters now open in full-screen mode, providing a structured and organised workspace. The screen is divided intro three distinct sections to ensure important information is readily accessible and new transactions can be initiated quickly;
Details - All key matter information is readily surfaced on the left-hand side of the screen, including real-time drillable financial tiles and prominent estimate trackers.
Actions - On the right-hand side of the screen, we've streamlined the menu options to promote quick access to commonly used actions and views.
Focus - The central part of the screen emphasises transactional aspects of the matter, displaying time, disbursement, invoice and ledger details.
Details
Rates & Estimates - are now afforded more prominence on the matter so you can instantly see how fee and disbursements are tracking versus estimates.
Drillable Financial Tiles - tiles have been reorganised into three deliberate groupings; Work & Fees, Office and Trust & CMA (Client & Deposit for UK), allowing you to quickly discern the financial position of the matter. In addition, a number of these tiles are now drillable, taking you straight to the underlying transactional detail.
Referrals - any referring entities are also displayed in the Details area, promoting visibility without detracting from your current focus.
Actions
Create New - instantly accessible options regardless of the Focus context, allowing you to quickly record new time and transactions
Notes - record relevant notes to the Client, Matter or Invoice and pin the most important so it's immediately visible to anyone viewing the same record. Pinned notes are also visible from listing screens by hovering over the note icon, as shown below.
Settings - less commonly used functions are now housed behind the Update and Settings options ensuring the Actions list is kept to core tasks and functions.
Wider UI Improvements
We have also made similar changes to the Actions section of various other screens, such as Suppliers, Invoice Editor, Banking and General Ledger. In each case, commonly used actions are housed under the Create New area and other commands behind the Update option or Settings cog.
